As far as inspiration goes, not every person can or will be inspired. I couldn't, for the life of me, find much inspiration in Ronald Reagan, but he seemed to have inspired a great many people.

That people are finding the same degree of inspiration in Barack that folks found in Reagan is a fair assessment. It may be somewhat surprising, but it's fair.

Obama seems to be doing very well with this "prove you are not prejudiced" theme. Looks like we are going to have another Republican president.

Last time I checked, Bush is a current REPUBLICAN president.
