500 senior admirals and generals took out an ad today in the Washington Times to declare their support for Mitt Romney. The professional core of the U.S. military overwhelmingly favors Mitt Romney over President Obama by a two-to-one margin.

The NC Times reported:

Quote:
Hundreds of former senior military leaders have taken out an ad in Monday’s Washington Times newspaper declaring their support for Republican Mitt Romney, a rare if not unprecedented action in the final days of a presidential campaign.

“We, the undersigned, proudly support Governor Mitt Romney as our nation’s next President and Commander-in-Chief,” says the advertisement, which is signed by some 500 retired flag and general officers representing major branches of the U.S. military.

The Mooney Times. LMAO. As if preaching to the choir is going to sway anyone. And as if we didn't already know the military skews Republican because the Republicans keep them in business. Please. Tell us something relevant.

Wow, shocker. 500 guys who want the military to keep getting gazillions of dollars for their toys and life-long pensions! What next? Bankers for Romney?

Yes....I expect nothing more from a Liberal.

Disrespect the very people who make your right to vote possible.

Who's disrespecting anyone? I was simply stating that of course military brass would prefer Romney to win: He has already stated he's going to keep the gargantuan military budget intact.

It would be interesting to see how many of them currently have ties to or run defense contract companies.

Yeah, and the Washington Times is a Right Wing propaganda tool owned by THE MOONIES — you know, those Asian guys in the robes with their hands out at airports.

Not a real respectable source for news, I'm afraid.

You were sure saying it in a very disrespecting way.

Oh...and WHO are Obama's base? People who want lots of FREE stuff that they don't have to work for.

At least these people EARNED their pensions by doing something IMPORTANT with their lives of which you benefit from directly.
