Would these be the same military leaders who upon reaching their 20 year service mark, tend to jump ship to highly lucrative private sector employment with defense contractors and take their federal pension and benefit package with them?

Follow the money to understand why the U.S. is always at war somewhere.

Come to think of it, what makes a guy who demonstrates for drafting people for Vietnam, then skips off to France when it looks as if he might have to personally put his derriere on the line such a great candidate for CINC?

Romney wants to increase the military budget, no surprises. If you want to increase the military budget and this is extremely important to you, then Romney is your man.

When it comes to funding the military, Romney thinks money grows on trees

This is the guy who wanted to build another 100 F-22s - the ultimate hangar queen, the result of a defense program specifically designed to be impossible to cancel - oh, and perhaps to build an aircraft as well. (Couldn't quite build an aircraft that didn't asphyxiate a few pilots, but hey - what do you want for a measly 67 billion? They've only had six decades or so to gather experience with oxygen supply systems.)

The guy who thinks that with about 50% of the world's total naval power, the US Navy is still too small.

If I drew my paycheck from building pointy-stuff-that-goes-bang (and had my sense of ethics surgically removed), damn straight I'd lobby for Romney.
My friends in Defense - can't vote for Romney fast enough. They want money for all their pet projects; and are practically salivating thinking of all the money coming their way if Romney wins.

I wrote what their ulterior motives are in the first post. Are you short of memory or hard-of-reading?
They don't want money from the military cut, and Romney (that great cost-cutter) will assure that.

The rest of your post is very Fox-esque in its deliberate misrepresentation of my words...are you a staff writer?

Default Who cares?

Obviously they're suffering from severe TRAUMA, psychological abnormalities, gross delusions, chronic thoughts of emptiness and suicide, and various mental disorders.

This is not newsworthy and shows the continuing pattern of GOP desperation as their candidate FLAMES OUT.

Enjoy President Obama's second term.
