Can we say it's officially general election mode now?

Ryan is a big get for Romney. Good for him...let's get on with the REAL campaign.

it looks like every Republican that is anybody is now jumping on the band wagon. For those who were praying for a brokered convention I am not sure your prayers will be answered.

There won't be a brokered convention. Anyone who thinks there will be needs to consider that Romney is doing very well with the "bound" delegates and I think he will mop up enough with the super delegates already publicly committed to him to get to 1144.

This is over. I predict Romney wins all three primaries next week and effectively ends the primary season. Once Santorum loses PA, it will be officially over.

Well, I'm still waiting for the George W. Bush endorsement.

But something tells me Mitt Romney isn't exactly eagerly anticipating that endorsement ...

Quote:
While largely unspoken, both sides acknowledge that Republicans would be best served by not reminding voters of the Bush legacy of gaping budget deficits, two wars and record low approval ratings. His eight-year presidency has merited no more than a fleeting reference from Romney and his rivals in debates, campaign stops and interviews.

"Has he endorsed you?" George H.W. Bush quietly asked Romney as reporters were beginning to the leave the room. "Uh, no, no," Romney responded, before Barbara Bush quickly ended the conversation: "We'll talk about that," the former first lady said.

The awkwardness is sooooo delicious.

Man up, $Willard ... you OWN George W. Bush.

This was a good endorsement and also very sincere. Paul Ryan and Romney seem to get along well.
