Yeah, this one's not too bright. I feel like doing a search on all her posts just for some entertainment, but, alas, I've got to figure out what to make for dinner tonight as I masquerade as being from the northeast but probably a Virginia girl (HINT: ChristineVA is my user name).

Romney's hypocrisy.

This is Romney (far right) at a pro-draft demonstration:

This is Romney dodging traffic in France while his contemporaries dodged bullets in Vietnam - an action he fully supported, as long as it didn't cost him anything, personally:

It is one thing not to serve. It is an entirely different thing to argue that others should be forced to serve and then run off to safety when it looks like your own number could come up. That's the embodiment of a chickenhawk.

Ummmmmm...can you please explain how that isn't deflecting from the fact that these 500 former military leaders are endorsing Romney?

I'm quite sure they are aware of Romney's background, but they STILL endorse him....why would YOU have a problem when 500 former Generals and Admirals don't?

I think we've established why a good portion of the retired military are endorsing him. He represents BIG bucks for the military industrial complex. No surprise there at all. Now, if they endorsed Obama, I'd probably fall out of my chair.

One more time for the people in the cheap seats. Mitt protested FOR the draft. Then went to Paris for the Mormon church. He wanted other men to go to Vietnam. Just not him. Obama never protested for the draft. Obama never told other men to serve when he knew he never would. Mitt told other men to go to Vietnam then scooted off to Paris. And someone else got drafted and went in his place.

Simple. (Except for the 19-year old who couldn't get a deferment and had to go in Mitt's place.)

Perhaps these 500 former Generals and Admirals agree with what John McCain has stated about people in the military not thinking that Obama has their backs after how he abandoned his Ambassador and Navy SEALS in Benghazi?

Yet....500 former military leaders still endorse him over Obama.

Benghazi maybe?
