It's the economy stupid. Romney by a landslide.

It's obvious Obama will win the election.

what excuse will you use when obama loses. after all, looking at the polls and some news agencies, it looks like obama might even lose his own state of Illinois.

The same excuse as always: Our candidate was too moderate. It's the only thing they can say without infuriating the base igniting a civil war within the party.

They can't stand to hear that the middle of the electorate finds their positions on issues like immigration, taxes and abortion too extreme. Those positions are very popular with 45 percent of the country, but it's just not enough to win a general election.

The gerrymandering of House districts has created a false sense of what's acceptable in a general election. You can run very extreme candidates for the House, like Ron Paul or Michele Bachmann, because any Republican (or Democrat) with a pulse is likely to win in certain districts. That doesn't hold true for the Senate (as evinced by the difficulties of Akin and Mourdock) and is certainly not true for the presidency.

I showed my sources. There is no chance Obama will lose. We are less than a week from the election and all these reliable sources have the same outcome. Intrade is driven by money, so rest assured it is not biased.

Haven't you seen the polls? The independents break for the challenger in the last week of the election. We have the worst economy since the great depression and the mideast in flames.

Wake up. It is simply shocking that ANYONE would want the worst president in US history to be elected for four more years of economic misery.

Fortunately, there are not enough liberals to put him back into office and the independents have more commons sense. Game over.
Could you be just a little more dramatic? Didn't quite get the gist of your response.

If Obama wins, that means there are more people getting a free ride in the wagon than there are people pulling the wagon. It will mean that Romney underestimated at 47%.

sooner or later, the people pulling the wagon will just stop pulling and leave. leave those that are riding for free to fend for themselves.

But then the people who make the ropes the people use to pull will go out of business and therefore everyone will lose.

I was just joking because I thought that example was funny. In all seriousness, the welfare and poverty rates were the lowest under Bill Clinton a Democrat. Republican States also do not have lower welfare and poverty rates either, in fact overall they have slightly higher rates when you total all blue states compared to all red states.
