It is more of a reaction to Obama's inadequate policies over the past four years than it is a mandate for the right-wing.

Just as Obama's first election was more a reaction to Bush's inadequacies than it was a mandate for the democratic party.

Wouldn't you agree?

Sort of. 08' was a year where then american people hated Bush and the GOP with a passion, but they also really supported Obama to bring us change and away from the horrific right wing policies that destroyed the nation.

Today the right wingers hate Obama, but they don't like Willard. He is just the "not the other guy" candidate like Kerry was in 04'. Those kind of people don't win elections,..

It's more of a combination of both.

Great, so we have two candidates that shouldn't really win this election. That is a pretty pathetic situation.

Yes it is.
However, there are more candidates out there. People shouldn't be brainwashed into thinking they have to vote for either Obama or Romney.

Romney's not even close to being a right-winger. so if elected, it's not a mandate for them.

And Obama was elected because he ran an effective campaign, the housing market collapsed and McCain ran a lousy campaign.

lols. The government grew and grew and grew under the Bush Administration.

If anything, Bush was a very moderate Republican. He got us in overseas wars, created the largest government department in the history of earth (DHS), expanded the role of government in education, medicine and Wall Street and who knows what else.

Hell, just look at his positions and forgot who he is and you'd come to the conclusion Bush was more of a Democrat than Republican.

Bush was a far right wing lunatic that spent like a lunatic, while giving massive give-a-ways to his corporate cronies, lied to the american people to go to war with Iraq etc,.. but that's the staples of the far right. Huge government, huge spending, and lying to the american people.

And if Romney is elected it will be more of the same.

Oh, good advise. They should, instead, totally waste their vote on some fringe candidate.
