LITTLE ROCK — A state representative from eastern Arkansas and three others have entered guilty pleas to bribing voters in elections last year.
State Rep. Hudson Hallum, D-Marion, along with his father, Kent Hallum, West Memphis City Councilman Phillip Wayne Carter and West Memphis Police Officer Sam Malone entered guilty pleas to charges they plotted to bribe absentee voters to cast ballots for Hallum, the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas said Wednesday.
Good that they caught them for voter fraud, Republican or Democrat, it is wrong....though reading the clip it is voter fraud that is happening through bribery, not at the polls therefore a voter ID wouldn't of stopped this.
As someone from Arkansas, I can assure you it's nothing new.
Voter fraud down there has been rampant as long as anyone can remember.
That mess spawned Clinton.

Rampant you say? What is the percentage of fraudulent voting that happens in Arkansas?
"after inspection by Hudson Hallum or Kent Hallum, the absentee ballots that contained votes for Hudson Hallum were sealed and mailed to the Crittendon County Clerk's Office," authorities said in a statement. "If a ballot contained a vote for Hudson's opponent, it was destroyed."
As for Northbound's comments, I'm sorry he was so miserable in Arkansas, however voter fraud is not rampant in Arkansas. It happens in Arkansas, just like it happens everywhere, but it's certainly not regular or common. The state does ask for identification at the polls.
As for jt800, I suggest he look into the politics of the men who committed fraud. Because a D after their name doesn't mean they are liberal. Especially in Arkansas. These men would be overwhelmingly conservative in Pittsburgh.
