Surprise, surprise.... it's a Republican!

Indiana election chief found guilty of voter fraud

Indiana's top elections official could lose his job and his freedom after jurors convicted him of multiple voter fraud-related charges on Saturday, leaving in flux the fate of one of the state's most powerful positions.

Republican Secretary of State Charlie White has held on to his office for more than a year despite being accused of lying about his address on voter registration forms.
A Hamilton County jury found White guilty of six of seven felony charges, including false registration, voting in another precinct, submitting a false ballot, theft and two counts of perjury. He was acquitted on one fraud charge.

Unfortunately, it could have just as easily been a Dem. Suffice it to say. it was an elected official trying to scam the system. He just got caught, is all.

Voter fraud and related issues should be of concern on both sides. However, little "one" guy prosecutions like this don't concern me near as much as the larger scale issues that go unaddressed. I do have to wonder what the intended goal was for said "fraud".

Although, it is good to see something getting done.

I thought the new photo voter id laws which Indiana led the nation in implementing were suppose to prevent voter fraud.

It is my understanding his main intention/crime was continuing to serve on and draw a salary from city council after moving out of town. The other crimes like purposely registering in wrong voter district and lying about address on loan forms were related to attempting that charade. More general douchebaggery than some system-wide corruption.

Then again, I only scanned a couple articles I could be wrong.

I've long held that Democrats and Republicans are both guilty of voter fraud, but the Democrats are just flat out better at it.

The trick is to not get caught. This is just another example of how Dems are proving me right. Both of them are quite willing to usurp the actual vote out of the deluded sense that the American people don't truly know what is best for them and they do. This case comes off more as a witch hunt to me, but hey, whatever.

Can't we just get rid of both of the parties? It would solve so many problems!
