I wonder if they are also disappointed with the Congress who is actually in charge of spending. Why hasn't the Repblican Congress cut spending if it is such a big problem? I am disappointed at all braches of the government, and I am disappointed at the Republican candidate, Romney, who won't even reveal how he would add 12 millions jobs, while enacting austerity measures to cut spending.

Collective delusion, or a belief that home prices would keep rising forever, no matter how high or how fast they had already gone up. That is why I believe that decisions should be made on sound fiscal responsibility with an err to the side of caution.

Actually the Republican HOUSE has sent budget bills to the DEMOCRATIC Senate which has refused to even consider. Even a well informed Independent knows that.

But we already know what Obama thinks on this subject. Regardless, Obama lost me when he pushed class warfare at 200k. It showed me he does not understand or care when he grouped people who make 200K a year (s-corps) in with the mega-corporations (c-corps).

Obama knows that mega-corporations are not easy targets but he wants bigger government and wants higher taxation so he went after the little guy who runs a small business. They are a much easier target. These people know they are at Obama's mercy and Obama has none. So much for the American dream.

Obama's new challenge: Disappointment - Jonathan Allen - POLITICO.com

It goes like this: "Gee, ya know what? We were ALL inspired by Obama. Hell, some of us even VOTED for him. We hoped and prayed he would succeed, for the sake of the nation. But, Obama failed to live up to his promise. It's OK to make a change"

That RYAN/romney are advocating a "change" back to the policies that got us into this mess? Never mind that!

That RYAN/Romney are IGNORING the actual history, that the GOP opposed and thwarted Obama with all their might from Day One? Never mind that either!!!

That it is dishonest, disingenuous, and insidious??? Never mind!!!

The sad part is, Martin thinks it just might work!

The GOP doesn't have to TELL people to be disappointed in obama. They just are. They have been. Even the Dems are disapointed in him. Otherwise they wouldn't spend all their time trying to convince Americans that Romney/Ryan are bad while using fear mongering to do it. The GOP are being nice to obama. They can use much harsher words than, "disappointed". They should say this: obama is either a skinny little global Communist that wants to take America's prosperity and give it to everyone else in the world, or he is a big fat liar that will tell us and promise us anything just to keep his big ol plane and michelle can have another vacation, or he is a weak, little man that cannot effectively lead our country into prosperity. Which is it? I know which one I think is the answer.

I'll repeat it again: I am disappointed at the Congress for failing to cut spending.

I don't care how often Romney says the president needs to cut spending. Someone needs to tell him the Congress holds the purse, not the president.

Actually he wanted to cut corporate tax rate from 35% to 25%, but the proposal was rejected by his poopnents. Just saying.......

But I'll tell you again, I dont' care what Romney says, but if he wins the presidency, he WILL NOT be authorized to tweak tax rates any more that Obama is. This is something everyone should understand, but it seems no one does.

Obama wanted to reduce the tax rate to 25%. Do you have a link? Obama wants to raise taxes on people and he uses class warfare to get the angry and jealous American people to agree.

I have no problem if Bush tax cuts are extended for everyone and there is no reduction but at least business will feel more comfortable that Romney will do a better job. Business people have no confidence in Obama's ability to get the economy moving again so they are not investing and not hiring. It's kind of a downward spiral. The left loves to pull out the word obstructionism lol but Obama is not going to force people to do what they think is not good for them.

Of course it would be nice for our taxes to go down and yes that would benefit me but we have a much bigger problem. Actually he can not reduce at least not out the gate. So I am not voting for Romney based on that reason. There are several factors I am voting for Romney. I am not trying to convince you to vote for Romney either but simply voicing my opinion.

The GOP was really on his side and wished him the best at first, but after his manifest lack of accomplishments, they must reluctantly admit he disappointed them.....

Nice try. Complete lie, but nice try.

So your take is to continue with Obama who policies made it worse. 32 million people unemployed, welfare jumped by 40%, GDP anemic, consumer confidence is very low, higher prices, apologizing to the world, oh the list goes on.

The part that you don't get is even though the left blame Bush, Bush and Romney are different and will have different policies. Also remember that it was unfortunate that we were attacked on Bush's watch but we 'all expected him to fight back. If he had not what would the left say? They would have a fit.

Also remember it was Bush who warned congress 17 times about the coming housing crash but he was ignored Bush, Senator Obama also ignored it and Congress continued with their subsidize, balloon, crash policies. Its sheer blindness on your part.

And you continue to ignore history and for everyone to see. Democrats had full control majority from January 2009 till November 2010 of his presidency and Obama's policies were pushed through. You are now enjoying the result of Obamas policies.
As always, the GOP's chances for success DEPENDS on the American voter having a very short memory...

I AM enjoying the result of Obama's policies, actually:

1) 14 straight quarters of growth

2) Health coverage for 35 million previously uninsured Americans (one of them, my son)

3) The end of America's war in Iraq

4) The death of OBL

5) The rebound of the stock market

6) ZERO attacks against our country

6) A realistic FP that puts American interests first- no "crusading" invasions

7) A return to a fact-based, science-based paradigm for addressing the the country, the world, and it's problems.

Are things still bad? Sure. Are they as bad as when he took office No!!! Are they as bad as the GOP needed them to be, so they could sneak back into power? HELL NO!

Given what the brother stepped in on Day One, and the challenges we still face, I'm pretty satisfied that, while thinks still suck, and will for the foreseeable future, I don't blame Obama. We have a sincere, intelligent president who is doing all he can. I think most Americans feel the same, or Romney would be WAY ahead in the polls, don't you think?

Now, imagine what he could have done WITH A LITTLE HELP, instead of obstructionism, from the GOP
