I'm so excited. The government said they will help me with my business. I didn't know it was that easy to run a business. Obama said it was so does anyone know who to call and post it here so we can call for the help?

You can call the local government to find out what infrastructure is in place...sewers and public water. These you would want and need in most cases.

You would want to check the interstate systems and where the exit/entrance ramps are. This is especially important if you will have trucks coming and going or if you will have lots of employees coming from various areas. You can find out if new roads or exits are in the planning phase.

Make sure you are properly zoned. Your local county/city/state would have rules on the zoning and they also can guide you on how to go about with a request to change zoning if this is needed.

If building a new place, they will guide you with the permitting process.

Contact your local county and city to see if there are any grants if you plan to hire employees. Depending on the number of future jobs, you might be able to get decent grants or breaks long term on taxes.

What kind of business are you opening?

You might also try the Small Business Administration if you need a loan.

Don't I already PAY for these services? Where is the help like running the business. I don't know what kind of business.

I need ideas. I wonder if I call the government if they will tell me what kind of business I should open?

They can't lend me money, they are broke.

Not sure if going into business is a good idea though, I want to go into business to make money but making money is politically incorrect.

No, the SBA is not broke. They guarantee loans made by banks; which otherwise might not make you a business loan.
