Oh I know, it didn't surprise me - but it will be surprising to the poster who told me I was wrong about that. And it will surprise Rick Santorum - he said he was winning in the places where Republicans live - well he's wrong. The place where more Republicans live than anywhere else is Cook County

Yeah, a great big conspiracy by a local tv station testing it's equipment. Ignore the fact that Buddy Roemer, long out of the race, logged 89,000 "votes."

Is this the latest hot conspiracy item hitting the Ron Paul blogosphere? Are these bloggers really that dense?

Well, to come in 4th in IL has to hurt; no doubt Paul drew many votes up north. Regardless, I'm glad that "sensible shoes Republicans" (as put by a great friend) chose to vote for the rational candidate. Perhaps this election cycle will purge the extremists from the party.

Seriously dude do you even bother firing off a synapse before just typing whatever kneejerk conspiracy angle strikes you?

3 million voters in that screen shot, with almost 160k for Roemer and Perry? You really thought that was the plan of the master manipulators, to fool everyone with fake results and just for the fun of it throw in way more voters than would be expected and what the hell a bunch of votes for people no longer in the running for the GOP nomination?

Another high turnout primary.....once again, the meme of the dems/media is not the reality.

Tonight's vote surpassed 2008.

2008 - 877,150

2012 - 898,795 with 99% reporting.

If they were, then perhaps you'd have a point. But, given this, they were more than likely (waaay more than likely, that is) just testing the system.
If that is true they are incompetent. You should never publicly post "test" results without saying that is what they are. This is WM 101. Certainly should be News 101 for a "professional news" agency.

Idiotic that someone would believe this. Typical for a certain segment of the population, though. Let's cull the heard.

You had an open Primary, the Democratic Primary was not competitive, and the last time around that Democratic Primary had a sitting Senator. This is HORRIFIC turnout considering that. If this was only registered Republicans being allowed to turnout, it might work, but when its an open Primary and the other side was very competitive with a sitting Senator last time, and isn't competitive this time, you should be seeing sharp increases,
