It looks like i will be getting to El Paso in late Nov. i need to find a temporary place to stay on the west side that is not going to cost and arm an a leg while i look for a place to live.

a furnished place with a kitchen and maybe cable TV and internet is what i need.

i could stay at studio 6 .... but i have read some pretty bad reviews of it.
does anyone have any recomendations please ?

thanks

Have you considered Value Place, an extended stay hotel, near East Ft. Bliss?

How long will you be staying for?

oh... and i'll most likely be having to stay a month or so before i find a place to live. so a monthly rate would be great if i can get one somewhere.

They have Studio Ones which are extended stay motels, And Warren Properties at least used to have month-to-month rent and are affordable and right on Mesa.

Yes; El Paso CL kinda sucks. I forgot about the Warren Inn--might work. Also, there's a Studio Plus on Sunland Park Drive.

I checked the studio plus and its SOOO expensive. its like $1600 for a monthly rental. i dont know what i'll do
i need to find something alot less than that because i am not too sure how long it will take to find an apartment.
so odd though that i got no response on CL. i have used CL for YEARS in other places and have always had wonderful luck... but not this time. lol
thanks for your suggestions.

I know this is taking a chance but I've done it before but have you considered moving straight into an apartment despite the fact that you haven't seen it yet? Some apartment complexes allow 3 and 6 month leases.

Or is that not a viable option for you?

Housing options in EP are plentiful, now whether you want to live there or not is a different story.
