Awesome another $4k in taxes, can't wait. Guess I'll just be buying that much less stuff next year. No need to keep the economy humming or anything.

Great, my taxes are going to double. I keep hearing the rich people complain about their taxes going up, but what about the poor people like me? This is going to make or break a lot of people at my income level.

The tax cuts will expire back to rates seen during the Clinton years. Remember those years? Those were some of the best economic times in the US. Lots of people got rich. I know I did. Actually, capital gains taxes were even higher under Clinton (28%), while they will go up to 20% next year under Obama.

Besides, the expiration of the tax cuts next year was voted into law by the Republican congress and signed into law by Bush. It was built into that law. It's not as if Obama just suddenly decided to tax the heck out of you. Do yourself a favor and stop listening to idiots like Palin, Beck, and Limbaugh. Look at the actual history of the law.

No one wants to be taxed, but we somehow have got to pay for our US war machine that's busy spreading Christianity overseas.

Wonder if it ever crossed anyones mind to quit spending. Not sure how you live, but when I am out of money I don't write any more checks.

But keep in mind that the U.S had a tech boom in the mid to late 90's that brought in alot of tax revenue. We don't have any tech booms today. Also wasn't the economy going into a recession at the end of Clinton's presidency going into Bush's?

FactCheck.org: Were Clinton's policies responsible for the 1990s' economic growth?

Yep, mine is going from 15K to 29K.

Looks like it's time to sell my business and retire. Sorry I have to put 11 people out of work if I have to close. Between taxes, attorneys, and accountants fees I'm going broke.

Glade I made my money a long time ago because I'm not to sure about the future. I was offered a job the other day doing estimating that would pay me close to what I'm making now without all the headaches. Think I will look into it.
