So after almost all winter with a very scarce amount of snow, we are finally getting it. Snowing like a banshee and Macie is loving it. She goes outside, sits on the deck and surveys her kingdom - for about 5-10 minutes. Then she wants in - all energized because of the snow/cold so she wants all of her toys (especially the ones under the couch that she can't reach herself). Then, she wants back outside to start the whole cycle all over again....Between that, C-D, and trying to figure out between Lowe's and Whirlpool, why someone can't get here to fix my BRAND NEW hot water heater (which hasn't worked all weekend)....I will never get my taxes done!!

LOL! I know the feeling...my little ones get all jazzed up if there is a chill in the air (it is mostly hot here) and they get super CRAZY when they come back inside, it is a symphony of hilarious vocalizations and rolling around on/chasing/butt-putting each other! Forget trying to concentrate on anything when they get that excited, it is a fruitless thing...I usually join in the play and wear them (and myself!) out before any sense of calm is restored. Hang in there!!!

Macie loves the cold and snow. She is a golden retriever and has a very thick coat even for a golden. I think that cold air just feels soooo good to her - and snow, well, as you said, it's just the whole idea - they love it. I just have so much to get done today. Mondays are my day off so I really try to be somewhat productive at home (but this doesn't always work LOL). I would be less crabby if I had hot water. Cold showers? Not fun.
