I think Karma got her wish (doesn't she usually??)

The last bite of most of my dinners would go to my sweet girl. After she passed, it was weird to get to eat my entire meals myself.

It's like that here with "pizza bones". It was always a tradition to split some crusts with the (former) dogs. We can't do that anymore, and we miss it.
