Ugh. I am a white knuckle flyer. I can't imagine being on that flight.

Passengers probably had no idea other than the turbulence they felt. I'm there with you though. White knuckles just got a little whiter on this day.

As am I. I’d prefer not to know these things. Ugh.

Just got back from a long walk, and the great melt off has definitely begun. Our streets are mostly clear (but not dry), crews are working on removing downed trees, and the creeks are running fast and deep. It was fun while it lasted. Oh, and our decrepit fence survived the wind. Yay! Sadly, our neighbor’s fence did not. Boo.

ya grass is showing through the snow just now. not even close with the downed trees for Denver. Temperature a little bit short of t-shirt weather but a long sleeve shirt works.

Winter isn't over yet.

WaPo has a good article on the storm that's going to hit the middle of the nation this week.

Excerpt: "Blizzard warnings have been hoisted in the northern Plains, with winter storm warnings from the Continental Divide to the Great Lakes. ... In Denver, it’s supposed to be near record highs around 80 Tuesday. Rain develops and turns to snow Wednesday. The blizzard warning for the city suggests about four to eight inches there. Wind gusts of 40 to 60 mph cause white-out conditions into Wednesday night....."

I need to get me one of those Burma Shave retro signs. Until the late 1960's the Burma Shave signs were seen on U.S. Hwy 85 between Louviers and Sedalia!

Don't know about Denver this morning, the passes sure got it yesterday. On ABC's 5 o'clock news David Muir showed reports of two to three feet of snow in Montana--yikes!
