Bob - glad you aren't/weren't made crazy by the snow (at least it was good for something.. setting a record)
TFW - it was beautiful here today BUT they are calling for a mix now Thurs./Fri. - hope not - this warm day has me spoiled - thanks for thinking of me.
Camper - glad you had a good weekend camping
(since this is the chat, keep my friend in your thoughts - she has to have a lung biopsy on Fri. and I'm scared because she had a ticket to go see her daughter/grands for 2 weeks and Dr. didn't want her to wait that long
On a happier note - I went to the games meetup that I've gone to occasionally - had fun for the most part (at least I got out!!)
Prayers for your friend, Flamingo. Thank goodness she has a very pro-active doctor. And I'm so glad that you went to the meetup games. I've thought about trying meetups but am too shy to follow through. If possible, can you share what it was like?
Camper, I thought about you last weekend. The weather was so gorgeous that I wondered if you were out camping.
I had a good time TFW! Some of them I'd met before and some were new folks - everybody is friendly, some more outgoing and some quieter - you should try it!
Bob and Flamingo (and maybe Ketabcha too), you'll be interested in knowing that, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, this winter was the warmest on Earth.
LOL - "my" place on earth wasn't the warmest on record
Check out the meetups in your area TFW (problem is I don't have hobbies - need to find some) - there are groups for everything under the sun it seems like. The game one I go to is "iffy" for me in that many of them like playing these weird role playing games, etc. while I like traditional games, more card oriented, etc. (if that makes sense) - it was encouraging that the youngest gal there agreed w/me - she wanted something easy to play while mostly chatting, having drinks/eating, etc. - just depends I guess. This place is the closest to me so I go occasionally (but I'm a social person and enjoy interaction) - Go for it TFW!
Before my girl Debby died my house was the warmest house in the neighborhood.
I am still getting used to the cold.
Tired of snow!
