When I lived in Taunton MA, back in the mid-to-late-1970s, my heating bill in the winter was never less than $500. I dont know how much that would be in today's currency but it was a LOT back then.
Does that mean more snow or just more cold, Bob? Should I tell you that it's been getting down into the 50s at night and up to 75 during the days here lately? We're supposed to get a blast of cold air next week that may bring temps down into the 30s.

I'm a firm believer in the adage "We need a good hard freeze before spring shows up."
This winter has been a total disappointment for me. I love snow. I don't even mind ice. I want a winter in these parts.
It's a wonder that I am not bipolar. From New York we moved to Hawaii and then were transferred to Kansas and finally to my home state, Texas. Before NY we lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Montana. So I knew snow early in life. I miss winter.
