Lounges to take an Internet First Date (Dallas, McKinney: hotel, theatre)

30-something white guy here.

I'm back in Dallas after a long time. I put my profile up and have received more response from women than I expected.

I'm looking for a lounge to meet these women at. Going for coffee is lame.

I remember back in the day going to Abacus or Sambuca for these things. Are they still around?

I'm looking for a lounge:

1. Where you can hear each other talk. No loud music.
2. That preferably has some nice comfy couches or booths.
3. No one would really notice or care if we were smooching.
4. It would be great if there were other spots to walk around to, like somewhere in the West Village or Mockingbird station.
5. No kids or immature people.
6. I would like to stay inside the 635 loop if possible.

Yes, Abacus is still on McKinney @ Armstrong and Sambuca is still on McKinney @ Pearl. I recommend the following wine bars: Cru Wine Bar is in the W. Village next to Magnolia Theatre: Crú - A Wine Bar :: Your Premier Destination For Fine Wine And Food. In the heart of Uptown on McKinney near Allen is Vino 100: Vino 100 Dallas - Wine, Champagne, Gift Baskets, Stemware, Gourmet Food and More. - Dallas, Texas Wine Store | Wine Shop. Or at One Art's Plaza in the Downtown Arts District you might like Dali: Dali Wine Bar - Dallas Tx Texas. One other suggestion I have is the Library Bar at the Warwick Melrose Hotel in Oak Lawn. It's got a very classy yet cozy ambience with sofas and a piano player. They might even have a fireplace, but I'm not sure.
