Hi All!

I am planning to move to Dallas and would want to look for some places to have fun and enjoy the nightlife. I'm a mid 20's male and was wondering if anyone can recommend the best bars, lounges and clubs in town.

Is there a particular area of Dallas where in one immediate area/block where there is a high concentration of clubs and bars? It doesn't really matter to me whether the crowd is young (college students) or young professionals (20-30's) as I'm open to all.

Thanks so much for any suggestions!

The entire area known as Uptown along McKinney will suit you just fine. From Uptown, you can take the free trolley to downtown and hoof it over a few blocks to the downtown section (lookup city tavern, sol irlandes to find the right general area). From downtown, you can take the Dart to the Deep Ellum station. Efrog also serves the area.
There is also Knox/Henderson that has quite a few nice places east of 75 but parking is a pain, the density isn't as great imo if you don't want to spend the whole night in one or two places and no trolley.

There are also lounges downtown along Main and bars and clubs in Deep Ellum east of downtown. The DE bars tend to be more hipstery than their Uptown counterparts.

Downtown east has a block of clubs that kind of remind you of six street in Austin.
They even have people posing as models in the windows that blew my mind wooow!

It all depends on where you stay. I normally drink in bars/lounges near my home. 4-5 mile radius. But when i do decide to venture out i normally go downtown Dallas. There is nothing like this place has this and that place has that when it comes to bars/lounges. Google and go! Find what connects to you!

When you say Downtown East, what district would that be?

Thanks!
