Hey there,

So I have date this week, but I dunno where to go.

I have been researching a good "romantic" restaurant but cant seem to find something for my budget $10-$20 per person.

In terms of things to do after dinner... its hard to find anything during the weeknights . Art museum is closed, arboreteum closed. I was thinking about ice skating at the Galleria but does anyone have anything I could do for late monday night? (After 7-8 PM).

I greatly appreciate all your help.

A brief description about me would be college age (but not 21) , both of use like to dance and party, but obviously we can't do that on a monday night. We both live near plano, but I can go anywhere near Dallas.

Anyone know of a good "make out" place also in Dallas?

*edit*- oh she likes sushi / asian food ... but Asian food and romantic dont fit together well and I am asian so kind of sick of asian food, but if anyone has any good asian food places that would be great!

Thanks!

Ghengis Grill located on 75 in front of Collin Creek mall has good food. I haven't been in ages, but they are not to expensive. Pei Wei has multiple locations, their food is good as well, but they are almost always busy.

First date I wouldn't worry about anything too romantic, maybe stick to something familiar like Chilis of Fridays.

Depending on how early you have dinner maybe you could catch the sunset at White Rock Lake.

Checkout >> THE SHOPS AT LEGACY in Plano by the Tollway. There's Naan (asian) and a Taco Diner, Fox Sports Grill, Cafe Express, and other restaurants, a Cold Stone creamery, then you can walk over to the fountain and hangout there. If the martini bar has a band that night, then you guys can dance over there. Check it out....

Go to The Grape, Terilli's or St. Martin's on Greenville, then head over to White Rock Lake for the rising of the moon. And there are always 'the submarine races'.

There's also a place on Greenville called BlueFish: The Blue Fish Sushi and Teppo

However, I think Tei-Tei on Henderson is cooler..(but no patio like Blue Fish)
Welcome to Teppo | Tei Tei | Moosh

Its not Asian food, but there's this little pizza joint called Campania's in the West Village on the first floor of the Mondrian. This is really good Italian pizza, so the flavors are not the usual and there are usually young couples there. They also serve different pastas and desserts as well. This would put you a couple of blocks from the Magnolia theater to the south, and a park a couple of blocks to the north for making out. Could also take her down to Turtle Creek just down the street which is nice for a stroll.

Campisi's can be romantic if you can get a booth or table in the original section, and it's inexpensive. Also Angelo's Italian in Lakewood is one of our poster kfhar's favorite places...
