From NWS FTW:

A COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED SUNDAY NIGHT AND SHOULD BRING IN MORE SEASONAL TEMPERATURES. PRECIPITATION CHANCES ARE LOW....

DESPITE THE DRY FORECAST THERE IS STILL GOOD NEWS. TEMPERATURES BEHIND THE FRONT ARE EXPECTED TO BE NEAR NORMAL...WITH LOWS IN THE UPPER 60S TO MID 70S AND HIGHS IN UPPER 80S TO MID 90S.
I guess I have a different idea of Fall in my mind, but at least 90s and 70s are better than what the temps have been.

I can't wait. I've gotten so used to 100s that 90s are going to feel cool. And this is coming from someone who was having a blast playing in the snow last year.

The 90s will feel better, but cool? No way. I'm looking for the 50s and lower. That's what I like because it's so refreshing and my dogs are needing it too.

The 50s!!! Gosh no! I'll have goose bumps and be shivering all the time. It's hard to putt when you're freezing cold and can't feel your fingers.

After spending a couple of weeks at around 110, 90s will be nothing. I like the cold myself, but let's not rush through the fall. I'm in no hurry to get back to another summer.

Plus I've hardly gotten to ride my bike any this year due to moving. I'm hoping I can get a tire for it and get some time in before it gets too cold. Fifty degrees and 60 mph makes for a hell of a windchill.

Agreed! Anywhere from 60F-85F is best for me. Unfortunately we don't get too many of those days.

I think we have reached 65 days of 100+ this year. Four more days for the record.

I wonder how all this heat/drought will affect the little bit of fall foliage we usually get. Some trees are already brown and dead. I always looked forward to some color in November!
