Dubai is actually a facsinating place. Lots of westerners living and working there. The culture is a little more restrictive than I would prefer. Hopefully I'm decades away from needing a home for retired people. But I do worry about you wearing-out prematurely caused by wilting in the beautiful sunshine and warmth of Dallas.

I work the evening shift. That way I don't have to experience any more of that cursed sunshine than necessary.

I agree with you on the temperatures you mentioned above. That's good, but the summer temps are so different from the 60s. It is what it is ... can't be fixed.
