Not surprising. Earlier it was released that 2 Dallas County folks (20s and 30s with no underlying health conditions) are in critical condition with it.

I’m still going into the office but we are running a skeleton crew. I think I saw 2 people today and I didn’t get close to either of them

There were a ton of people in every single parking lot with a grocery store though. Definitely noticed that!

I think people are off work now, so they're taking advantage of that time off to run errands.

But seeing that many cars out today, just didn't seem right.

What needs to happen is industry needs to shift into overdrive to produce Ventilators, masks, - the tools we are lacking to save lives. It can be done - but American industry is just gonna yawn and say that's too complicated rather than swing into action.

If we organized and financed this, we could kick some ass. Ferchrissakes, there's ventilators on Ebay that will never make it to BUMC cuz no one cares to think.

I mean we've been going for a while here...

If at all possible we should have been staying home and only running necessary errands days and several cases ago. We likely have 1000+ cases here, despite the low number of 'confirmed' cases we're reporting so far.

Is this forum still considering people who think we should cancel school and practice social distancing to be in the "sky is falling!" crew?

Funny how that phrase was used so much....up until about a week ago.

I meant, at the school level. Lots of people (not me) were saying "children don't get it, no need to cancel school."

I too was surprised at traffic out but then realized Plano had not closed restaurants and bars to dine in. I heard this morning that Plano and McKinney had adopted the Dallas restaurant Bar mode for now, I was shocked it had not happened at the Collin Country level. Is Frisco really allowing dine in a restaurants at this time?
