I'm just glad that C-D has no posters that ever took a chance. On anything. The girl is nine years old for petes sake.

I loved this movie so much. Thanks for the flashback. I'll have to remember to look for it.

A 9 year old should know better and so should her parents.

AND, she was among a crowd of 50 tourists looking at the bison.

It's not like a 9 year old trying to feed a bear.

I don't even know what that's supposed to mean...

I would not consider antagonizing something that weighs over 1,000 lbs taking a chance... I prefer not to die doing something stupid.

Here's a quote from Quora by a National Parks Worker:

Jesse Lee O’Connor, Senior Interpreter Yellowstone and Teton National Parks
Updated Apr 14

1.9 deaths per year, 2006–2016
93 deaths 1872–2016 = .65 per year

You can see it has gone up in recent years as has visitation and use of selfie sticks. Another increase is attitude of entitlement as in “those rules are for the masses but not for me.”

My understanding, though, is that the major threat is not the animals. It's certainly not for a lack of trying to provoke them.

I saw that & was incensed. You get your child into a bad situation & then run to save your own skin. Unflipping believable. Twits.

Even a docile milk cow will charge, if it feels like it is being surrounded by people.

I am glad the little girl was treated & released.
