It's too bad though. You were one of the posters I really enjoyed. We just have a literal difference of opinion.

I won't be posting back in anymore Ferguson threads or anything else controversial here.

If I would have known the OP only wanted "like-minded" individuals posting, I never would have entered this thread.

Don't let them stop you.

Funny, I thought a teenager was someone who ranged between the ages of 13 and 19.

Water cannons, what year are we in again? 1964 or 2014?

Of course the media isn't trustworthy... It's the media...

I was born and raised in what is ranked as "the most dangerous city" in the US. Once there were riots over police brutality, marches for social change, elections to rid political corruption and 40 years later there is no police force, folks are still desperately poor, all business is gone half the city has been torn down and just about every politian elected into office has lined their own pockets ripping off the decent people still left in that town. What am I saying...bulldoze it, it's over. Am I bitter, yup!

This would be the state of mind of the man shortly before he was shot. Here are the stills from the video. On the surface, it looks like the man that was shot likes to push his weight around and intimidate people.

I don't know. It seems to me that they believe our society is too complacent about these issues.

Wilson CLEANED UP HIS OWN CRIME SCENE.

The stuff that Ferguson PD allowed him to do is absolutely mind-boggling:

1) Let him keep his weapon

2) Let him clean up his own crime scene

3) Did not have a senior officer question him at the scene AND take his gun

4) NEVER wrote an Incident Report on what happened

5) Said his dashcam was "not working"

6) He supposedly called for back up, but oopsie! The radio was on the WRONG frequency.

7) When asked why he didn't mace Brown, he said Brown's hands were by his face and that it would "just get all over the place"

8) When asked why he didn't taser him, he said "They're uncomfortable and I have no place to put them in the front (was he alluding that he had a big package or sumthin'? )

Everything this man did that would get a REGULAR cop FIRED, he was allowed to get away with. He also had a DA that handed his defense attorney a win.

Dude is a DISASTER.
Thank you for an intelligent post clearly pointing up some reasons for your feelings. It does seem that after the shooting things were handled very poorly and someone should be fired.. What would you have done had you been the officer and someone reached into your car? Hit you? Grabbed your gun?
