i bought a 50" panasonic from dell online a couple months ago for $620 + free shipping. if i were you, i would do that and buy the PS3 separate...you could probably even buy it used, if you wanna save even more money (ive seen them on CL for $200 and less. people just need to make some quick cash i guess).....you'll save money and get a bigger tv. but since i'm NOT you, all i can say is i think it's based on personal preference.

i've seen that tv & ps3 combo online selling as high as $1350. and i just googled that tv model, and the suggest list price for the TV alone is as high as $1,700.

We bought a 42" Sony Bravia at Best Buy during the Black Friday sales for $597 (without the Playstation). I'd say the Sam's price seems a little bit high.

Depends on the exact model of TV, which is not shown when I look at it. Sony has several different models, from entry to high end. The price is not shown either, since it asks for zip code.
