2 inches and snowing here in Granby. At the top of the mountain moving into East Hartland it is coating the roads. At the bottom of the mountain on RT 189 it is just a little slushy on the roads.

The hunt for flakes (Easter Analogy, lol)

Light snow right now in Windsor Locks and Winsted. I'm pretty sure Litchfield County and higher elevations of Hartford, Tolland and Windham are the only places with it. Confined to above 1000'.

These are one of those times I wish we had a spotter in each town. That would be so great.

Very cool. Thanks! Fill out a report form if you can. Dont worry if you dont have a Spotter ID. They'll match it with other reports.

Cam--maybe you should have played the Mega-Millions lottery. Saw wet snow in West Hartford this morning...and not at high elevation either!

lol. All I do is say what the models show, anyone can look at them.

The NAM was completely off and it supposed to be the short range reliable one. It continuely had half foot for northern spots. It had too much moisture. I think the GFS did good again.

Looks like Norfolk got the most from today. Not suprising. Then just a Trace to couple inches in varies spots northern Tier.

CONNECTICUT

...LITCHFIELD COUNTY...
NORFOLK 3.4
WINSTED 2.0
BAKERSVILLE 1.2

...TOLLAND COUNTY...
TOLLAND 1.9
STAFFORDVILLE 1.0
COVENTRY 0.8

Since there's nothing but rain and 40s to talk about here's one more of the March 31st snow in CT.

It's from the NW Corner of CT in Salisbury, from Meteorogist Erica Grow.

She writes: "Here is a Reported picture of the snow in Lakeville, where they got about 3"! Only a few towns saw more than 1" in Litchfield county. The snow in Hartford and Tolland counties amounted to less than one inch.— at Lakeville, CT."
