You beat me! Light sleet here. So "TRACE" of snow in the books again.

White Plains reporting it too. Surface in upper 30s near 40. Must be a thick layer of below freezing temps between 1000-4000' because its above freezing at 5000'.

About 7/10 inch so far at Brainard Airport in Hartford. Only about 40 degrees at the most. Thank goodness it's RAIN!

At normal 12:1 ratios it would of been a 8-9" snowfall
(0.70" x 12)

Too much southerly flow with no arctic air in place. Gotta get some real cold in place and a good storm track

7:50-11:50am November 24, 2019 Loop. I see a spin!

Coastal storm now off Rhode Island coast with Upper Low over the area.

Note the snowfall reports from WV and PA and watch the icon turn dark blue over Lancaster(Heavy Snow was falling). Overachieving snowfall for some.

Too bad we wont get backend snow although almost looks like we would.

Edit:: I didn't realize how strong it was. 986mb storm off the coast this morning

Whoa! Philly Suburbs reporting snow now.

Dynamic cooling can help make that a reality. Very cold 5k feet above our heads, all it takes is a pocket of heavy rain to bring those colder temps down to the surface. No accumulations. Flakes.

The freezing line at 5k feet is inching closer to CT

Loop last 4 hrs...

Focus on Westchester County through the loop. Just stare at it. That's what you call a Pivot!

Rain coming from the south then BOOM it starts coming from the West.
