Bridgeport, CT max today was 40°.

Under 41° max doesn't usually happen this early being near the water.

Only in 1962, 2012, 1995, 1971, 1969, 1953 it happened before Nov 10th, out of 71yrs of records.

Twice in 2019 and 1962

Ugh..all this wasted cold air.

Whats more useless than a cold snap in November? Draws the winter longer..and when you need the cold air for snow..it wont be here.

American models NAM & GFS showing rain will turn to snow Tuesday after lunch. Wouldnt be surprised as cold air rushes in and if theres still moisture around.

This is for 1-4pm per NAM

Danbury at 24° at 9pm. Lol.

They were only in the 30s for 7 hrs today. Hows that for perspective?

Just so cool(or cold) and impressive to see this time of year!

The loop next 4 days.

The white is pretty much pure arctic air and will be over Minnesota and Wisconsin but will disappear as it heads east.

The pinks and purples will be over a huge area in the east and the Jet stream dips.

Vortex over Quebec

Watch the -10C line (where pink and blue meet) It gets down to Kentucky but then moderates and just stays over the TN/NC mountains

Coldest air at this level over Connecticut will be 1°F!! At 5000'! That's nuts in November!

Hi-Res NAM3km PType 4am-7pm Tuesday.

Raining at 7am everywhere but the Rain changes to snow around lunchtime in CT as cold air starts filtering in. Temps might be in the 20s in the evening. Don't expect much snow. 1st of season! Maybe a coating? Flash freeze?

Not sure if forecasts are showing this.

Spring and Fall weather are only 2 months. Summer and Winter are 4 weeks long. Summer more than winter.

Look at all the blue squares (winter) in March and all the Red squares (summer) in September.

I know this also because there are some stuff that need to get done before Winter or Summer and it's been tough timing them out.

At least it's a bit milder today, despite the cloudiness. 50 degrees feels like a bathhouse, compared to 2 days ago! (Normal high is like...53?)
