I'll have some stats tomorrow. Good timing before the storm. Then I will be in storm mode Friday. lol

yeah, nice to finally have had a front loaded winter but it was impressive how deeply cold we got. Seems like that's a theme in recent years that we can get impressively cold. Then the ridge flexes its muscles from the south and boom, quick warmup.

So tough. Nothing is known yet.

Understand its going to come down to how much precip keeps rotating in when the cold air is in place DURING the storm. So many things going on as this STALLS.

NYC will almost certainly have their warmest February, and the record was set just last year!

Interesting the lowest Max temp for both were close.
Also interesting the highest minimum temp came in December for BDR.

:::WINTER 2017-18 SUMMARY:::

Beginning of the season started with a couple of warm days but December ended up very cold and snowy with a 2 week impressive Arctic sustained blast starting on Christmas.
After January 8th the pattern changed and we never looked back.
Rest of January became more normal with ups and downs.
Pattern remained active entire winter but snow events were harder to come by.
In February the South East Ridge showed its strength and popped north as the Polar Vortex couldn't find a way to come south into Ontario or Quebec leading this ridge to pop north and give us hot temps

Future radar loop... I can't stop starring at this!! Watch the storm just stop and stall off the coast.

First we get rains with winds from the southwest then we get snow with winds from the northeast.

Have a flight out of Logan tomorrow morning 9:00 am. Chances of cancellation? Or will it be mostly rain and not too windy at that ponit?
