Looks to be a mess with sleet and freezing rain.
Euro model went colder overnight for afternoon/evening. That's all I know. Which means probably more sleet and ice than rain.

But About to change in 24hrs. Finally!

And so it is! Got about 1/2 inch here in SWNJ and (they say) will stop later on only to resume this evening for another 1-2 inches or so before it changes to rain tomorrow morning.

You will finally get (more than my locale) a potentially "maybe" decent snowfall unless it's more an ice storm - I'll take my weather forecast thanks. Please make sure that you stay up and watch every flake fall, it might be the last in this meteorological winter season you know.

As a side note: I really could do without the cold and snow as it doesn't do my 2 degenerative back discs and my already sensitive sinuses that loves to get infected from the cold temps any good. I've in the past 8 years have become a lot less tolerant of this type weather.

So....

Maui is getting more snow today, at 3 inches, then we have seen this month.

Glad I did not book a vacation there to get away from the cold!

Haha. Euro says upper 40s at 5000' during event tomm evening. What a joke this winter is. At least we'll finally get our biggest since November. Just have to deal with the changeover again.

I think that you ticked off mother nature, she doesn't like to be told what to do.

I underestimated the snowfall amount, as I went to clean my car it seems that there was about 2 or so inches of wet snow to clean (which slipped almost right off) and much of the snow has melted down as our temps are about 34 degrees. It is now snow showering here but the changeover to rain will happen roughly in the AM rush hour tomorrow after about another 1-3 inches fall overnight tonight.

Weird winter so far.
