Temps currently in the 20s and 30s with rain coming. Loop last 3hrs. 4:15-7:15am.

Lots of yellows and oranges which means there's a large area of heavy downpours (right now). Some of this moisture is remnants of Willa so its coming from the Tropical Pacific

What is the definition of the hard frost or killing frost?
How would I find out if it happened or when it will happen for my area?

Well, in my case, if it killed my annual plants that were outside, it was a hard/killing frost. Things that are meant to live year round are still standing but everything else is dead. There's probably a good definition and I think there's a difference between a hard freeze and a hard frost.

Just for that? Astrological winter starts...ha ha!

In any event, will the wind be that big of a problem in southern Hartford County? It sounds like it'll be an issue for much of the Maine coast.

Tomorrow's highs.

But with the winds... brrr.

Maybe a flake or two for mountainous CT.

Total precip.
