So far the temperature did the falling but the dew point has not done any falling. I want to see the dew point dip. I’m getting a dewpoint of 71 near me and it actually went back up from 69.

The higher the cloud tops the stronger the storm. Wonder how high they were this evening. I didnt see any tweets nor did I look for it.

And these high cloud tops aren't consistent along the line so if you look from above you just see some poking way up high, thats why some areas get the severe hit and some dont.

BTW - Just drove on the Merritt INSIDE that line. Crazy! Bolts all around me, rain drops the size of marshmellows and blurry windows from the heavy rain, flooding in spots.

Over 1.2" within 1 hour and still coming down. Let me grab a loop

Oh, temp went from 91 to 72 in minutes.
Thanks, I bet the humidity makes it feel like the hottest.

Its.....about.....time.

However with a stalled front off shore we'll get clouds and chances of rain.

Patiently waiting for the blues! September will end up above normal for sure. I don't see a deep enough arctic blast happening to bring us below. After the 12th I see some quick dips but this one seems like it would really be "Fall-Like".

September 18th give or take.

North Greenwich, Stamford and New Canaan got hit bad. I was sitting in south greenwich watching these thick bolts drop down. I knew it wasnt good.

70s again this morning but I dont mind as much as 80s, 90s and humid.

Weak Florence will strengthen and threaten the Carolinas.

Yeah, lots of trees and branches down on the commute home last night. Even a couple of power lines.
