but take a look at this morning. White Plains rose so fast and is even 1 degree warmer than LaGuardia too.

That didn't last, LGA just shot up to 100! (more than even EWR which topped out at 99 and has dropped to 97). It's their 2nd earliest 100 ever (earliest is June 10, 2008). Interestingly, Central Park's earliest 100 is much later in June (June 26, 1952; though it was 99 on May 19, 1962).

One unusual thing (that is probably part of the reason they are so warm) that is usually not true for LGA is that they currently have by far the lowest humidity over a 100 mile radius, at only 27%.

5:30pm Dewpoints. This is probably what got to me. I circled all the 70s dews. Mid 60s is my ultimate limit.

They do NOT have the lowest humidity. That's a percentage compared to temperature. Go by the dew point. Percentage is irrelevant. If you have a 70 dewpoint at 101, the percentage of humidity will be less than air temp 95 at dew point of 70. But the humidity is actually the same.

Another ex: It can be bone dry with a dew point of 30, but if the air temp is also 30 then humidity will be 100 percent.
Moral of the story is that dew point is what you pay attention to.

4:30-8:30pm loop. All those cells and moisture evaporated before getting to the coast. Hoping for a drizzle.

They actually (as shown on Cambium's map) had the lowest dewpoint as well, it was "just" 60.
