7.8° here. Lowest of season. -3° in Danbury

If wasn't for the Fresh snowpack we wouldn't be as low as we are. And clear skies. Check out Virginia.

Not a lot of wind chill numbers around because of calm winds.

Also, they closed some schools down south because of the cold

Sorry folks but I'm loving the cold air, feels like things clean up a bit when the temps drop this low. Also my sinuses are back to normal. It did get chilly last night, if you have any outside pipes or those on outside walls then pop open the cabinet by the faucets to let warm air circulate in there.

Luckily I threw some Cherry in there at 10pm. I was tired from the storm tracking I forgot to load it up. House was mid 50s this morning. lol So I turned the boiler on for heat

Maybe I'm getting older, I love cold but I don't need this cold UNLESS it stays this cold. These ups and downs kill you. If it stayed single digits for a while I would be able to adjust and adapt easily. Teens & 20s is fine for me.

My low was 6.2°F at 7:41am. Already at 15F at 10am. LMAO.

Rain tomorrow night. But a little snow and sleet first tomorrow afternoon.

Last time Bridgeport was under 10F was Feb 15, 2016

Here were the lows this morning. Sub zero just 25 minutes north of me.

Here were the departures at 7am. Richmond was 33 below normal! 10-20 below for CT

The subzeroes in parts of VA and southern NJ were impressive as was the 33 below normal in Richmond (and BTW they had a low of 0 this morning....I don't think its unprecedented but that has to be pretty rare for them)

Any thoughts on the possible snow for Sunday? Was originally looking like 2 weeks of just rain......
