Ask and you shall recieve. Nice reminder on the season avg.

Last time NWS Wakefield in Virginia issued a Blizzard Warning was during the infamous post Christmas blizzard 2010. So here we are 6 yrs later they got it again.

Thanks (they are not THAT far south (but being on the coast helps keep snow from them) so I didn't really think the last time was 1980 but you never know.....)

Should be snowing lightly statewide by 1pm. Moderate at times especially Eastern CT.

All done by 10pm.

High ratio snows so you don't need a lot of liquid for a few inches!

Will have to keep eyes peeled on radar... As I said, an extra .10" liquid falling would mean 2 more inches of snow.

If this storm is stronger or wobbles closer than things could change last minute

Nick might bust to the low side for the 2-4" areas in CT.

Maybe not. We'll see. Go with the higher end for now

We seeing a shift west a little? Weather channel bumped Danbury to 3-5 from less than an inch last forecast.
