Sun came out today. Roof snow melting, drips in the gutter, grass showing up, wasnt cold.. Gotta love/hate coastal living. Shade areas wasnt melting much though. My snowpack down to 3" now.

Interior CT forecast. Euro has a big rain storm next week. We'll see.. Would think it be a snowstorm given the pattern but all it takes is a bad track. (Euro tracks the storm right along the coast)

I guess tonight/tomorrow morning is "all over the place" now. Winter Weather Advisory still up, but reworded in a very interesting way:

SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 2 TO 4 INCHES. SNOW
AMOUNTS WILL DEPEND ON WHERE BANDING SETS UP. SOME AREAS MAY GET
AS LOW AS AN INCH OF SNOW
. SOME AREAS...ESPECIALLY ACROSS LONG
ISLAND...COULD GET SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES.

Meanwhile, BOX has gone "totally the other way" and sees it going all the way north into western Mass:

...SCATTERED BUT LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY...

SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS WILL OVERSPREAD THE REGION WEDNESDAY
MORNING ACROSS CONNECTICUT AND WESTERN-CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS...THEN
SPREADING EASTWARD INTO RHODE ISLAND AND EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS
DURING THE AFTERNOON. HEAVY SNOWFALL AMOUNTS ARE NOT EXPECTED
HOWEVER A FEW HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS MAY RESULT IN A QUICK 1 TO 2
INCHES OF SNOWFALL IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME RESULTING IN ROADS
BECOMING SNOW COVERED.

THIS MAY IMPACT THE MORNING COMMUTE ACROSS CONNECTICUT AND
WESTERN-CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS INCLUDING THE GREATER
HARTFORD/SPRINGFIELD AREA. SNOW SHOWERS MAY LINGER INTO THE LATE
AFTERNOON ACROSS RHODE ISLAND AND EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS. THIS
WOULD POTENTIALLY IMPACT THE LATE DAY COMMUTE ACROSS THIS AREA.

THE GREATEST RISK FOR LOCALLY HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS IS ACROSS WESTERN
PORTIONS OF CONNECTICUT
AND MASSACHUSETTS DURING THE MORNING AND
THEN IN THE AFTERNOON OVER SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF MASSACHUSETTS AND
RHODE ISLAND. THERE IS A LOW RISK THAT A FEW LOCATIONS IN THIS
AREA COULD SEE LOCALIZED SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 4 INCHES WHILE
MOST LOCATIONS EXPERIENCE LESS.

GIVEN THE FORECAST UNCERTAINTY STAY TUNED TO LATER FORECASTS AND
DISCUSSIONS ON THIS EVOLVING WEATHER SYSTEM.

With the temperatures forecast for Saturday night, Cambium must be bouncing off the walls as stoked as I would be flying in solid instrument weather and then landing in 200ft ceilings, in a Great Lake Cutter!

The whole thing may be a dud as I suspected this morning as the storm is looking more and more disorganized, I noticed the Winter Weather Advisories were dropped across the board
