We took a drive to the gym (yay! twice now so it's a habit again, right?). We could barely get up the hill to our driveway. The roads aren't being cleared much where I am. I think the bottom layer is frozen so it's hard to plow. We just need salt down to melt it. My work was cancelled today. Not sure about tomorrow. I plan to go but it might be impossible to get over the hills.

Wish Upton would come to speed with technology. In winter I need PType radars! lol

Here's a few to keep. I know not as closeup as Uptons though.

Philly area has Winter Storm Warnings for up to 8 inches tomorrow. Any implications for the tri-state and the rest of CT?

Part of me is wondering this because NWS seems to be showing 1-2" for NYC and just 1" for FFC during the day tomorrow.....

I just drove from Monroe to Oxford, and have to head to Ridgefield shortly. Took me an hour to go 7 miles - the roads aren't great. And it's still snowing here in western CT at a good rate. Hoping it'll stop soon!

I'd guess we have somewhere around 3-4" in Monroe, hard to tell, and it's still snowing. To me the roads felt a little icy under the snow, very slippery.

Coming down that hill on 111 approaching 34 was no bueno. I started to slide going at a crawl and I have a jeep. Definitely felt like there's a sheet of ice under the snow!

Drive down to New Haven not bad. Snow seemed to dissipate closer to the shore. Then 2 hour's later what a nightmare. Coming down hard at times. Plows couldn't keep up. Slush everywhere with ice under some spots. What a mess.

Anyone hear the weather for the weekend? Weather man is saying can get up to below -15 with wind chills making it -30!!!
