The soil is usually hardened up by now too but I've been transplanting stuff easily.. Planted Garlic the other day.

Sad to say but, we are going to continue the theme of having more above normal & seasonable days rather than below normal next 10 days at least.
I'm going boating on Sunday!! still not sure if I'll pull the boat out..

Hmmm. Could it be.. first accumulating snow Monday night? nahh.. would be too light. Will keep an eye on it

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY
353 PM EST FRI DEC 4 2015

A CLOSED LOW ALOFT WILL THEN APPROACH FROM THE WEST MON NIGHT
INTO TUE...AND INDUCE SFC CYCLOGENESIS OFF THE SOUTHERN MID
ATLANTIC COAST. HAVE FCST 30-40 POP FOR SOUTHERN CT CT AND LONG
ISLAND AS THIS SYSTEM PASSES BY. MOST OF THE ASSOCIATED PRECIP
SHOULD BE IN FORM OF RAIN...BUT TEMPS COULD BE COLD ENOUGH FOR A
BRIEF PD OF SNOW OR A RAIN/SNOW MIX AT THE ONSET...ESPECIALLY OVER
SOUTHERN CT.

Just noticed my Hydrangeas are sprouting new leaves and my parsley and chives in the herb garden are still full green and healthy and my wife has been picking them and cooking with them.

It seems like just getting below 32 degrees is a challenge with this pattern. I will be outside in a t-shirt and shorts as soon as the first artic air arrives. lol.

Wake me up when this is over...

My Garlic is sprouting, my Lilac's blooming and Budding, my lawn actually is growing, and I mowed the lawn today in shorts. Just one of those years.

I had mowed November 14th the last time at height of right side.

Colder here (30F) than on top of Mt Washington at 6200' (34F) . In fact its colder in parts of the south.

20s and 30s again in the south. Nice. Florida is ridiculous.

Me too, I hope this lasts all month long. In a perfect world, we'll get a mild winter, too. One can dream.

Why so much warmer up there, is it very cloudy in northern New England this morning?

As for Florida, that's why it's the attraction it is.

Whats the attraction ? Oppressive heat 10 months a year now? I feel sorry for them frankly.
