Yes! I may actually still be for when spring rolls around. Don't think that's happened since 2010!

This has been a fantastic November for me despite the short days. Got a huge project underway on the house and lots of biking. Even got a decent yard cleanup in.

Yesterdays data went into the database and with a max and min 15 above normal it now has fall as Warmest on Record (not tied) in Bridgeport.

And while Winters are on a down trend since the 80s, Fall has the opposite going on.

Of course that's only records since 1948..

Here's Hartford. Pretty flat trend since records began. Tied 2nd warmest Fall.

We're due for a big drop. Maybe Fall 2016?

^^ Wow! Global warming truly made itself felt in 1927, 1931, and then in the 1940's.

lol. Shhhh! Don't start that up again. Lets enjoy talking about weather and climate without that trash talk.

BTW .. here's the Pattern coming up. No way for Arctic air to get in with a Split Flow. No torch.. no freeze. Enjoy seasonable weather warm and chilly at times next 10 days.

Last year.... we had the same pattern mid December

Spoiler

And I don't call 2 months of winter....Winter. I want 3. That's what seasons are for! But because of the historic cold and snowpack of that period last year, it was good enough for me.
Well, one thing is for sure, I really hope that you are right!! Winter 2011-12 was a DREAM for me!!

Would be curious if nighttime lows (my theory on it, I agree it doesn't hold for daytime highs) were warmer then. My gut feeling is they were not, but fall is the one season that at least in our part of the world has been consistently cooler now than in the past the peak of "fall warmth" seems to be about 1925-1960 (for example, all of the 90 degree October days in NYC occurred between 1927 and 1941), so I could be wrong.

Another nice link to save.. Not really a "forecast" but a projection from the GFS MOS which sometimes NWS uses or blends with.

X/N = Max/Min. I didn't know normal lows are now 20s in Hartford. Doesn't feel like that. Gees. Goes to show how warm we been.

Looks like Wednesday will be our warmest day of the week. Mid 50s Hartford. Upper 50s Bridgeport. Gees.

Map of States with Links to GFS-Based Text Forecasts

Pretty much above normal next 7 days. Enjoy. Gees.

Unfortunately, they are predicting rain with those warm temps
