Showing its commitment to greater Hartford, Cigna is about to invest $386 million in renovations to its Windsor Data Center. Cigna will take advantage of state tax credits enacted in 2021 for data centers. Wonderful news. Jay

Data centers generally don't hire that many. I know a number of them and it'd like a large server farm. One of the largest in the region only has around eight employees.

The Capitol Region Development Authority has released the names of the four developers who submitted proposals for the next phase of Hartford’s massive Bushnell South project. It includes two well known developers already with project in the city; Spinnaker (55 Elm Street, Park at Main) and Spectra/Wonder Works (Spectra apartments on Constitution Plaza & Pearl Street).

Another is one of the country’s largest housing developers who has a new project in downtown Stamford, Lennar. The fourth, the Michaels Organization is a developer of mixed-use projects in 35 states, including Connecticut, and the District of Columbia. They have projects in New Haven and Meriden.

Very impressive group which shows how well Hartford is regarded these days by developers. Jay

Dunkin Donuts Park has been once again selected for the fourth time as the best MiLB AA ballpark in the country by Ballpark Digest. Nice. Jay

Plan b burgers is coming to Front Street. They are taking over the former Ted’s Montana Grill location and will open the 160 seat in October. This will be the seventh Plan b restaurant. It’s great that such a well respected restaurant is showing confidence in downtown Hartford. Jay

Make it 6, the one in your native town closed down awhile back. Met some people up there once, left unimpressed with the food but the bar selections were up to par.

They closed in Fairfield and Stamford too.

For a similar small local chain, I prefer Prime 16.

The Plan b restaurant here in Glastonbury did not close. It’s still there drawing a big crowd. I’m sorry you didn’t care for it but many love it. It’s pretty hard to get in during peak hours. Jay

I grew up in Fairfield but now live in Glastonbury. If you read the article, the number of Plan b restaurants did not include Fairfield which along with Stamford, closed a while ago. Jay
