Haven is over on the Westport border, I don't know, I'm not over that side much. Birdcode is in Darien near Exit 13. The Chick Fil is maybe a mile down the road or less.

I noticed the highrise seen on CT Ave basically on the Norwalk/Darien line is now rubble. I think that place was a hotel.

Does anyone know what they will be building there?

That was the old 8 story Doubletree Hotel. Costco bought the 3.21 acre site to expand their parking garage. They demolished the hotel for it.

Yes, if you ever saw the lines up the driveway to get into Costco you’d understand why. An a-ha moment. Money well spent

not just expanding the parking lot, they're also building a new building to house their tire center, and then they can expand the current store to occupy their current tire center.

A life sized bronze statue of Stew Leonard Sr., the late founder of Stew Leonard’s dairy/grocery store will be installed in the iconic Norwalk dairy store. Members of the Leonard family, friends and store employees recently gathered for the unveiling in Norwalk. Seems like a fitting tribute to the man who invented the store that has grown to a small chain of 8 stores in three states.
