Yeah that's obvious and it's why doctors like to live across the street from the hospital a lot of times. Especially if their on call. 95% of people don't have jobs public safety oriented.

Now THAT'S a weatherman. No wig, no fluff, just a great explanation of the forecast.

Yeah, I really really love his videos. I only started following him early this year. For those that dont follow him too much; he says it like it is, doesn't fluff things.

And Not often do we see forecasts like this near the coast..

I can't agree more. I'm not a car salesman. And yes, they are afraid to lose a sale.....what a joke. I'm one of the managers in the parts dept and honestly my manager above me lets me do what I need to do. Especially during snow since he commutes an hour as well. Its the actual owners that don't care. They never close......ever. When Sandy hit, obviously I stayed home because tge parkway was closed and there was no power at work anyway. Car dealers suck in this way.....most do anyway. A lot of employers actually frown upon calling out for snow. Its total bs to me. Safety first to me especially since my wife and I drive in together. My owner wouldn't close if the world was ending.

So I just noticed this thread today since my wife mentioned we are getting some snow not realizing it was going to be this big event. After flipping through I'm thinking tomorrow may be a good day to take down the Christmas lights outside before everything gets buried and unable to be stowed.
