5 in a row for the GFS showing snow next weekend. This time its a NorEaster with a front end thump before the rain. Arctic air comes in place couple days before so the cold air is around.

Should be interesting to watch the model trends. GFS is continuing with the cooler trend overall. Any milder temps and moderation does not have a strong impact.

6 Runs.

Euro continues with just rain. Looks like a lot of moisture with this one +/- 1"

FYI.. Just because it's March and we had enough of winter it doesn't mean it can't snow. Especially north of 84. There's been many times it's snowed mid March and even into mid April. And I don't see an entire pattern change yet so its still possible.

No 50s in sight next 2 weeks still. Don't send the hate mails. Just saying what I see.

I looked it up, that's the totals from last November's whopper. If that were going on right now it would be national news again. But all those towns are south of Buffalo as I had said........

I looked at last year and it snowed at BDR on March 31 (0.7") and April 15-16 (0.1"). Yes, they were about an inch or less but still......Central Park showed "only a trace" both times but even the NYC airports showed measureable on those dates (for some reason often on "dusting" snows they tend to show a trace at CPK even when the other tri-state stations show a minor amount of measurable).

Yup, it's not over just yet... I think most of us just wanna get past the below freezing hurdle which we will. Max 30s and 40s will be the theme UNTIL next weeks Arctic blast again, just in time for Next Weekends storm

This mornings temps.. Min of 11° here. All normal. lol

The 14.1" so for this month for Central Park is already the most in March since 1967 and one of only three Marches since then to total over 10" (1993 and 1996 had just over 13" in March). Its their 11th snowiest March in their 145 year record, they need 1.5" to make the top 10.

GFS doesn't wanna stop. Now 7 runs in a row with snow. Last few changes to rain for most but this is the most snow and south more it's shown.

pointless for totals and location right now but for the heck of it... Here's the result
