Tuesdays is a colder storm I believe if it happens so would be higher than 10:1.

0.75" liquid at 10:1 would of been 7.5". 3/4" is a healthy amount for a winter storm.
It definitely felt more than 8 to 1! It was probably that rain like you said. 20 to 1 is really only found out in utah/colorado area or in lake effect snow. The other mountain ranges are much wetter snow like the pacific northwest or the sierra for example. I'm wondering if we've ever had 20 to 1 snow here in CT in a fluke cold event? Maybe one time last year?

Is the storm over already?

It looks like all the moisture is bypassing us and over the ocean already.

Yes. Was basically a 7hr storm for me. Now just lingering snow showers/drizzle around.

I think the GFS got closer with Tues storm agreeing with the others for more snow.. I glanced at the data real quick. I wanna spend time in a little bit looking.

Surface being 32-33 helped keep them at 8:1 I believe otherwise if surface was like 34+ lower than 8:1 for sure.

Oh yeah... we get 15:1+ in CT quiet a few times. Most memorable for me was this tweet from NWS. 50:1 on Long Island!

Back a few storms ago this month I was using a broom to sweep the snow, that was high ratios.

January 21, 2014 we had 32:1 ratios!

I hope so. This event was tainted by the rain/mix crap.

So what's the deal? What's it showing for central CT and NW hills? NWS has only 30 percent chance of snow monday night
