I am thrilled with this weather. Nice and cold, easy to shovel fluffy snow, snow days lining up with my days off work!

Could this be another trend? Bringing the storm north?

The middle pic must be before the snow storms. Unless you have some crazy local warming there. LOL No snowpack? Nice pics. Looks like fun

Canadian just had a big moment. Shifted much south. Went from 6-12" snowstorm to T-2" minor event and stays much south.

Also good to point out... Anyone see the temps Sunday night?? Ratios easily 20:1 or higher! Easy. So even 0.15" liquid would end up being 3 inches of snow. Fluff stuff again. Fine dust/powder.

Cambium, doesn't the GFS bring strom tracks from the SE to the NW like 85% of the time?? It sure seems like it!!

Couple inches but nothing major from what I'm hearing.

Morning commute will probably suck though.

Not worried about tonights. Starts after 10pm. Light stuff. Should be done by lunch tomorrow. I don't think the morning commute will be bad #1 temps near 28-31 so roads will be fine. #2. Comes down too slowly for any issues. #3. Less than 2" total. Snow is in PA right now.

Most big storms do come from there. You reminded me of something else. We're not getting storms to cut towards the Great Lakes anymore like in November/December.

The margin of error with Monday is worth watching. A shift 50 miles north from consensus today means we're in for half foot+

And of course the latest Euro does give us a snowstorm as its close enough.. Arctic air is in place, KEY as Bernie said.
Notice the northern edge of the highest totals cut off at NYC, SWCT, Long Island. A shift another 25 miles and all of CT got a huge snowstorm.

FYI... double these amounts. Will not be 10:1.
