Only 0.22" of rain since midnight. These cells are scattered and small but might have some heavy downpours in them.

One in Poughkeepsie right now heading towards north Fairfield/New Milford area.

10:05am Radar and temps. Some cells tracking SouthEast with lightning & thunder.
Some chilly 50s this morning. Needed the heat in the car. Everyone in Jackets and Sweatshirts. Pretty normal though.

Dont want storms??? Pray the sun doesn't come out.

The sun is shining in many areas and is triggering storms across NY and PA.

It's 80s in DC. 70s up to Syracuse but still chilly 50s across CT and Long Island. 1pm.

Where are the winds coming from???? The ocean baby.

10m winds from the ocean but mid level winds are from the West while mid level winds are from the south over New London County.

Why storms shouldn't be severe in southern New England...

Air is too stable.. Watch them weaken and just be rain. Meanwhile they are dropping hail, lightning, Severe Warnings to the West.

A cell blossomed over the hills of Katonah and is here now... Lightning and thunder outside and temp is 57°F.

4 Thunderstorms this month. 2nd of the day. Rain. No Hail. If you seen pictures of the hail in PA today you would feel lucky.

Looks like there may finally be a warmup coming.

HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS ANCHOR ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST AND FLORIDA WITH A BUILDING MID-LEVEL AND UPPER-LEVEL RIDGE. AND TEMPS OVER THE GREAT LAKES SHOULD TREND WARMER DURING THE WEEKEND INTO NEXT WEEK...WITH AN AXIS OF ABOVE NORMAL TEMPS SPREADING NORTHEASTWARD FROM THE PLAINS TO THE GREAT LAKES & OHIO/TENN VALLEYS AROUND DAY 5. THEN ACROSS THE APPALACHIANS...THE NORTHEAST AND MID-ATLANTIC STATES FOR DAY 6 AND 7. NEW ENGLAND WILL BE THE LAST HOLD OUT FOR WARMING...BUT GRADUALLY AN UPTICK IN TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED.

Best guess, more rain today or Saturday? I have only one of the two days to till and seed. So frustrating but what can you do.

On and off like yesterday. Sunday looks to be best day but more of same maybe next week with chances of rain.. I say go for it... less to water. Till the mud, let it settle for half a day and lay the seeds and hay down.

We're in a wet stormy pattern. These clouds are KILLING my garden. 7 days to June and my crop looks like early May. wtf I'm almost accepting the fact that it's going to be a shorter growing season than usual.

Yesterdays Max temps.. All I know is, people were bundled up & had heat on around here. Max was near what the normal low should be (mid 50s)
