Hopefully, they will expedite the process of arranging substantive meetings.

Todays was truly just a self-congratulatory meet and greet for the group.

It will be easy to spot how seriously they treat the meetings by the quantity they hold each week, and amount of hours they spend talking at a very detailed level.

I wonder if Middlesex County, New London counties would reopen before other parts of state because their cases quite low.

Open in what way? Movie theater....now people come from afar as there's no competition.
Don't think it possible on a big level soon without going backwards.
As my wife told me.....were on the downward slope, but it's a double black diamond going into clouds....be careful.

Well it seems Raytheon Technologies, the new conglomerate from the merger of UTC and Raytheon, appears to be reacting to the massive drop in aviation business due to the Covid-19 crisis. Workers at Pratt & Whitney will be furloughed and costs cut. Jay

Unemployment in Connecticut reaches 339,000 as more businesses are forced to reduce staffing and close. CT could reach 500,000 in early May pushing CT jobless rate over 20% highest since 1930s Great Depression.

Starting to hear about layoffs in our white collar, remote working industry.

Came across this that shows which states are being hit hardest, by unemployment claims. https://www.nbcnews.com/business/eco...d_npd_bn_fb_bn

According to this, CT is the fifth lowest when it comes to percentage of workforce that filed for unemployment, beat only by Florida, Colorado, West Virginia and South Dakota.

That’s a glimmer of hope.

It’s kind of logical that agricultural states like South Dakota have low percentages. I’m very surprised to see Florida on the lowest list. It’s economy is very dependent on tourism which has been devastated by this.

I wonder if Connecticut is so low because so many insurance and finance companies here are already set up for workers to work from home. I believe that our state has one of the highest percentages of work from home usage. Jay
